The VIM has an infrared feature that is not available on other Edge series models. Previously, it could only be used with the remote control produced by Khadas. Now, to enhance expandability, we have added the option to customize remote control settings, allowing any remote control that can receive infrared signals to be used with the VIM.

In the settings menu, there is an option called remote settings.You can find this option through the following steps.
Droid Settings→More settings→Device Preferences→Remote controller customize.

We have added commonly used remote control buttons to the list,power、up、down、left、right、ok、back、mouse、menu、volume down、volume up、home. After you select the keys you want to define and click NEXT, the interface will guide you step by step with prompts for the buttons you need to press. Once you have configured the keys you need, you can start using them. If you want to switch to a new remote control, simply RESET the previously defined configuration and set it up again.
