The Chromium browser included in Fenix Ubuntu version 1.7.4+ supports playback of DRM-protected videos from websites like Netflix and Prime Video by installing the Widevine Content Decryption Module (CDM) library. Follow this guide to install it.
Video playback will be limited to lower resolutions (typically up to 480p), as Widevine L1 support is only available for Chromium-based browsers on the Windows platform.
To play DRM-protected content, the Widevine CDM must be installed. Follow these steps:
sudo fenix-config.Software > Widevine CDM.Install Widevine CDM.
