The Chromium version shipped in Fenix Ubuntu version 1.7.4+ supports playing DRM protected videos on websites like Netflix and Prime Video by installing Widevine CDM library. You can follow this documentation to install the same.

In order to play DRM protected contents, Widevine CDM needs to be installed. It can be installed by following the steps below.

1. Open a terminal and run sudo fenix-config
2. Go to Software > Widevine CDM and choose Install Widevine CDM.

You can use the following steps to verify if Chromium browser is able to detect Widevine CDM library

1. Open chrome://media-internals in a new tab.
2. Switch to CDMs tab.
