Auto Install System

Use autoinstall to write a selected system image automatically after OOWOW boot.

Copy image to SD card, insert SD card and boot OOWOW.

Open config:

• Advanced → Image autoinstall config

Configure image:

• Select Image - choose image from mounted storage.
• Manual Edit - enter image filename manually.
• Deactivate - disable autoinstall.
• Continue - keep current state and return to OOWOW.

Supported image files:

• .img.gz
• .img.xz
• .img.zst
• .img.zstd
• .sfs
• .kresq

If autoinstall is active, OOWOW shows countdown before installation.

• CANCEL - boot OOWOW without installation.
• CONFIGURE - open autoinstall config.
• Wait countdown - start installation automatically.

Autoinstall runs:

• image_write2emmc IMAGE --check --auto

On success, OOWOW reboots and ejects/removes install media if possible.

Autoinstall config is saved in:

• /config/autoinstall

Runtime log:

• /tmp/image_auto_install_config
