Default boot priority

  1. SPI-Flash always highest priority

If the SPI Flash contains a second-stage bootloader (e.g., OOWOW), it will attempt to boot from TF Card first when a card is inserted.

Booting from TF Card via TST Mode

If both SPI Flash and eMMC contain no valid boot image or are corrupted, you can force boot from a TF card using the TST Mode shortcut:

  1. Insert a bootable TF card into the Edge-2L.
  2. Quickly press the FUNCTION (FN) key three times within 2 seconds.
  3. The device will then boot from the TF card.

This method is useful for recovery or when booting from external storage is required.

OOWOW boot special shortcut

Hold FUNCTION and short press RESET to force boot OOWOW service from SPI-flash, and skip other boot sources

TF-card slot must be empty.
